Office Policies and Clinical Expectations

This guide outlines our trauma-informed framework for teen, adult, and family care. As each specialist practices independently, please verify specific administrative terms directly with them.

Clinical Scope and Professional Standards

Each clinician at Centered Mental Health operates as an autonomous professional, managing their own clinical field and protocols. Sessions for teens, adults, couples, and families utilize evidence-based techniques within the practitioner’s expertise. Therapists provide clinical care rather than legal counsel. Communication outside of your scheduled time is reserved for logistical needs; therapeutic work occurs during sessions. Your provider may offer a referral if your needs evolve beyond their current scope.

Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

Consistency is essential for meaningful progress for individuals and families. Scheduling agreements are made directly between you and your practitioner. While each therapist sets their own booking rules, this framework serves as our baseline. We value timely arrival to ensure you receive your full session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice typically incur fees. Frequent missed appointments can disrupt the healing process and may result in the conclusion of care to support others.

Financial Responsibility and Insurance Info

Practitioners manage their own financial administration for all therapeutic services. While your therapist may assist with insurance paperwork, coverage is not guaranteed. You remain responsible for all costs, including deductibles and out-of-pocket fees. A valid payment card must be kept on file, and we ask that you update insurance information promptly. Payments are due at the time of your visit; outstanding balances may lead to a temporary pause in your treatment until resolved.

Confidentiality and Privacy Standards

Our therapists prioritize your privacy, upholding ethical and legal standards for all clients. While practitioners adhere to all state and federal regulations, managing your clinical records is their professional obligation. Information is only shared under legal necessity, such as a risk of harm or a court order. These guidelines convey our general standard, but specific therapist methods may vary. Please discuss any questions regarding your records with your practitioner to ensure clarity.
